  My primary care provider, the nurses, and the receptionists have always been very kind, helpful, and friendly to me. I'm giving them a 3 star rating because of their billings department. I had switched insurance companies and then had to have several visits to Valley Medical. No one in billings bothered to tell me that my insurance was barely covering any of my medical bills because Valley Medical wasn't in their preferred provider list. At my last visit, as I was leaving, the receptionist asked me if I wanted to make a payment on my bill. When she told me what my bill was I realized there must be a problem with my insurance. I called my insurance company, but they refused to pay any more even after two appeals letters. I called the billings department at Valley and asked about a payment plan or a reduced rate since I was basically going to have to pay the $3,000+ bill out of pocket. The woman in charge was unkind, rude, and unwilling to even talk to me about a possible payment plan. So, as long as you have lots of money or good insurance you might have a great experience because other than the crusty, unkind, and merciless bill collector everyone else was great.
